Summer Solstice or JĀŅI begins with the Herbs and Flowers Market. 300 craftsmen and organic food producers from all over Latvia will gather in Dome Square in Riga. At 9 a.m. all the products will be layed out and ready to welcome customers. 

The Professional Symphonic Band RĪGA will play at the opening of the market. There will be dances, Līgo songs, weaving of  wreaths and a grand trading festival.

At the Herbs and Flowers Market you will be able to taste the organic foods produced by the Latvian peasants and buy craftsmen made gifts.
